Sparklite

We can never turn down a trailer for a charming indie adventure game, so when Merge Games approached us to create their narrative and gameplay trailers for the release of Sparklite we jumped at the opportunity. For the narrative trailer, the treatment was driven by a classic TrailerFarm custom script with expertly delivered VO. This was also a great chance for our sound guru to show his stuff. After all, what adventure would be complete without an epic orchestral crescendo to really amp the emotional feel of the story?

The game wears its 16-bit era influences on its sleeve so we created some gorgeous custom text slates for the gameplay trailer which would feel perfectly at home in the 16-bit era, while still maintaining a fresh 2019 vibe. Key gameplay details were identified to showcase the game in text slates, alongside a tight edit and delightful score.
